Senior cricket

Welwyn Garden City Cricket Club runs five senior teams on a Saturday and two senior sides on a Sunday, availablity permitting.

The First XI play in the Home Counties Premier League Division One, while the Second XI play in the Saracens Hertfordshire League Division Two, Third XI in Division Six, Fourth XI Divison 11 and the Fifth XI in Division 13.

The club's strong youth and academy set up is reflected in the number of young players progressing through to the senior sides. The club also includes a number of former and current county players as well as experienced club cricketers. There are also a number of overseas players who have settled in the area who play for the club.
