Junior cricket

Welwyn Garden City Cricket Club runs a large junior section with Under 9, Under 10, Under 11, Under 12, Under 13, Under 14 and Under 15 teams competing in Hertfordshire junior league.

Nets and coaching are conducted by ECB qualified coaches with matches on weekday evenings. In addition to the league matches friendly matches are arranged on an occasional basis to provide as much cricket as possible for the young players of the future.

The Colts section is run by Ian Watkins, organiser of youth cricket at Digswell Park with assistance from head coach Jamie Hewitt and various other ECB qualified coaches. You can contact Ian at: iwatkins@mac.com

Club Welfare Officer

The Welfare Officer at Welwyn Garden City Cricket Club is Dave Moscrop and his deputy is Siana Hetherington.
